I don't want to invest 80 hours into Persona 5 Royal and but be unable to pick up where I left off because it left Game Pass/my subscription expired, even though I own the game outside of GamePass. But encrypting the save files is literally disrespecting my time. When I pay for a subscription, I understand that I don't own the products once my subscription ends.

Honestly, I've had great value out of Game Pass and really enjoyed it, but this whole save file encryption deal needs to go. If anyone know what other changes are needed, message me.

I believe deleting them is necessary to get the saves to be read, but haven't been able to get further than that. For Citizen Sleeper, if you pop open the saveinfo.dat, you might see something like AAEAAAD/////AQAAAAAAAAAMAgAAA in front of both files, and a bunch of repeating BQUF at the end of the save_1.dat file. I was able to modify my Beacon Pines save file so that GOG can read it by deleting those characters. Microsoft appends headers and footers to the save files, which makes Steam/GOG versions not able to read them. I've found sometimes Game Pass saves need some manual editing to work.
